Industrial IoT Wireless AC Current Monitor Sensor
Introducing NCD’s Long Range Industrial IoT Wireless AC Current Sensor, boasting up to a 2 Mile range using a wireless mesh networking architecture. This Industrial IoT Wireless AC Current Monitor Sensor works together with a split core current sensor (included). It samples current at a high data rate and calculates the RMS Current value and sends a wireless transmission. This process is repeated at user defined timing interval while sleeping in between to minimize power consumption. The sensor comes with a 1.25 meter long split core current sensor which makes installation super easy. Includes clamp-on current sensor with a 0-100A or 0-200A measurement range (select the best option for your application during the order process).
It has an additional feature of detecting change in current at user defined detection time intervals and sending out data if the current change is greater than user defined detection change percentage. This change detection feature can be enabled or disabled as needed. To minimize power consumption, the current sensor sleeps to preserve battery life. Both of these features work together to support multiple application areas in one package.
Powered by just 4 AA batteries and an operational lifetime of 500,000 wireless transmissions, a 10 years battery life can be expected depending on environmental conditions and the data transmission interval.

Note: To measure the low current (below 1.5 Amps) pass the wire through the sensor 5 times and divide the current readings by 5.

Not for use in outdoor applications or for use in excessive temperature conditions. Prolonged freezing will prevent batteries from functioning until thawed, using extended temperature range industrial batteries may improve the useful temperature range. Extended freezing applications should use a full-time powered solution. Prolonged exposure to extreme humidity conditions may damage this device. The sensing element is rated for use for 5 years and may be replaced. Exposure to high temperatures may cause the batteries to leak, causing permanent damage to this device. NCD Warranty does not cover battery corrosion or use in excessively smoky environments under any circumstances.

When using an 900HP-S3B communication module, it is essential that you use the ZIGMO_PCB to configure the module settings. Long-Range wireless sensors may be programmed over the air without removing the communications module.
A 900HP-S3B Modem or a gateway of some kind that support the 900HP-S3B communications module will also be required.
