IoT Long Range Wireless AC Current Detection Sensor
NCD IoT Wireless AC Current Detection sensor transmitters makes it easy to receive alerts when the AC current value exceeds the preset limits. This current limit can be set us a on-board Potentiometer. This IoT long range wireless AC Current Detection sensor transmitter includes one 0-100Amp AC Current Sensor. This input can be used to detect if there is any current flowing through the sensor. The input current range is 0-100A, sending a transmission if any state of the current changes. Receive an alert when AC current value exceeds the preset value, receive another alert when the AC current drops below preset value. This IoT long range wireless AC Current Detection sensor is ideally used in Automation applications that need a reliable long-range wireless AC current detect transmission. Powered by two AA batteries, users can expect up to 500,000 transmissions or up to 10 years of battery life depending on environmental conditions and the transmission interval required for your application. Optionally, this sensor may be externally powered. This AC Current Detection sensor transmitter will send wireless push notifications over a distance of up to 2 miles using the included antennas (line of sight) or up to 28 miles using high-gain antennas. This wireless push notification transmitter works by sending data as soon as it detects an AC current (any change on input). Additionally, this AC Current Detection transmitter will send periodic data, indicating the input status as well as the battery level, just to let you know it’s alive and well.
Note: This is a AC Current Detection Sensor not a AC Current Measurement meter. It will send “On” output when the AC Current Value Exceeds the pre-set value and will send “Off” output AC current value drops below pre-set value.

Compatibility
Not for use in outdoor applications or for use in excessive temperature conditions. Prolonged freezing will prevent batteries from functioning until thawed, using extended temperature range industrial batteries may improve the useful temperature range. Extended freezing applications should use a full-time powered solution. Prolonged exposure to extreme humidity conditions may damage this device. Exposure to high temperatures may cause the batteries to leak, causing permanent damage to this device. NCD Warranty does not cover battery corrosion or use in excessively smoky environments under any circumstances.

When using an 900HP-S3B communication module, it is essential that you use the ZIGMO_PCB to configure the module settings. Long-Range wireless sensors may be programmed over the air without removing the communications module.
A 900HP-S3B Modem or a gateway of some kind that support the 900HP-S3B communications module will also be required.

- Custom designs should be based on our existing product because we can’t build rockets or electric cars over here!
- We do not provide customization services if it involves the introduction of a new or untested technology.
- Custom engineering fees depend on your requirements, so please contact us for a quote!
- We maintain ownership of all designs, including our customized designs as they are based on our existing Design.
- We will only ship the customized product to you or your authorized agents.
- We have an NDA available if needed.
- The turn-around time is about 2-3 weeks.
- We specialize in low-volume designs, no quantity is too small!
- We have the ability to scale to large volumes as needed.
Getting Started with Product Customization
All you have to do is contact us and we will walk you through the process from beginning to end, based on your individual needs. Some people are surprised at how fast we finish CAD design (usually a few hours), but keep in mind, we still have to build your design, which takes considerably more time. When we customize product, here are the general services we provide:
- We design the circuit board.
- We communicate with our customers throughout the customization and manufacturing process.
- We manufacture surface mount stencils and circuit boards.
- We program our pick and place machines to build your boards.
- We build a working sample and run it through our wave solder machine.
- We test your custom IoT solution.
- Once the design is finalized it won’t be possible to make changes during production (changes cost money and require us to repeat the above processes)
- Once it meets all your requirements, we will start production as needed.
- We work with our metal fabricators to design a metal enclosure if required.
- You work with our artist to print the top side of the enclosure in full color with your company logo if required.
