Industrial IoT Long Range Wireless Electrical Conductivity EC Dissolved Oxygen DO And Temperature Sensor
Introducing NCD’s Industrial IoT Long Range Wireless Electrical Conductivity EC Dissolved Oxygen DO and Temperature Sensor, boasting up to a 2 mile range using a secure wireless mesh networking architecture. It incorporates a high resolution EC and DO probe that samples liquid Electrical Conductivity and DO levels at user defined intervals and transmits the result to remote modems and gateways.
The EC DO probe for this sensor contains a built-in temperature sensor that will give temperature readings along with the EC DO data. This transmitter will send beacons of high-accuracy (±2%EC and ±2°C temperature) data at user-defined intervals with outstanding precision. The EC DO probe comes with a 5 meter long cable and has a 3/4 inch NPT housing. The probe is rated for 0°C to 65°C and can withstand a max pressure of 100 PSI.

The calibration period depends on the usage of the equipment. The calibration process can be done in house and the calibration steps can be found in the product manual. The probe can stay submerged in the liquid during its entire life span.
This Industrial IoT Long Range Wireless Electrical Conductivity EC Dissolved Oxygen DO and Temperature Sensor is powered by just 6 AA batteries and has an operational lifetime of 300,000 wireless transmissions. 10 years of battery life can be expected, depending on environmental conditions and the data transmission interval. Optionally, this sensor may be externally powered, as it supports a 6-32 VDC external power supply.

Prolonged freezing will prevent batteries from functioning until thawed, using extended temperature range industrial batteries may improve the useful temperature range. The sensing element is rated for use for 5 years and may be replaced. Exposure to high temperatures may cause the batteries to leak, causing permanent damage to this device. NCD Warranty does not cover battery corrosion or use in excessively smoky environments under any circumstances.

Compatibility Notes
When using an 900HP-S3B communication module, it is essential that you use the ZIGMO_PCB to configure the module settings. Long-Range wireless sensors may be programmed over the air without removing the communications module.
A 900HP-S3B Modem or a gateway of some kind that support the 900HP-S3B communications module will also be required.
