Industrial IoT Wireless 4-20mA Current Loop Receiver
Introducing NCD’s Long Range One Channel Industrial IoT Wireless 4-20mA Current Loop Receiver, boasting up to a 2 Mile range using a wireless mesh networking architecture. It incorporates a High resolution 1 channel 16-bit ADC that samples 4-20mA analog inputs at user defined intervals and transmits the result to remote modems and gateways. Between samples, this device enters a ultra-low power sleep mode to minimize power consumption. This Industrial IoT Wireless 4-20mA Current Loop Receiver has an additional feature of detecting change in current every 7 seconds (user configurable) and sending out ADC samples if the change in current on any channel is greater than 10% (user configurable). Both features work simultaneously to support multiple application areas in one package.
This Industrial IoT Wireless 4-20mA Current Loop Receiver has on board 16V buck boost power supply, thus eliminates requirement of external power supply. This power supply is used to power up the external 4-20mA sensor. This device can be used with any 2 wire 4-20mA sensor/device into a wireless nodes.
This Industrial IoT Wireless 4-20mA Current Loop Receiver is powered by just 4 AA batteries and an operational lifetime of 500,000 wireless transmissions, a 10 years battery life can be expected depending on environmental conditions and the data transmission interval. Optionally, this sensor may be externally powered. This product has capabilities of supporting 6-32VDC external power supply (Optional).

NOTE: This 4-20mA Current Receiver Provide 16VDC Current Loop Power Supply. This devices can power up the external sensor while measuring 4-20mA signal.

Not for use in outdoor applications or for use in excessive temperature conditions. Prolonged freezing will prevent batteries from functioning until thawed, using extended temperature range industrial batteries may improve the useful temperature range. Extended freezing applications should use a full-time powered solution. Prolonged exposure to extreme humidity conditions may damage this device. The sensing element is rated for use for 5 years and may be replaced. Exposure to high temperatures may cause the batteries to leak, causing permanent damage to this device. NCD Warranty does not cover battery corrosion or use in excessively smoky environments under any circumstances.

Compatibility Notes
When using an 900HP-S3B communication module, it is essential that you use the ZIGMO_PCB to configure the module settings. Long-Range wireless sensors may be programmed over the air without removing the communications module.
A 900HP-S3B Modem or a gateway of some kind that support the 900HP-S3B communications module will also be required.
