Industrial IoT Wireless RTD Temperature Sensor
The NCD Industrial IoT Long Range Wireless RTD (Real Time Data) Temperature Sensor Transmitter is capable of measuring extreme high and low temperatures with incredible precision. This IoT RTD Temperature Sensor transmitter supports any 100 Ohm 3-Wire RTD sensor, and includes a free RTS PT100 probe for the purposes of experimentation and testing within room temperature environments, but best results are achieved when connecting a high-quality sensor that meets your application requirements. This Temperature Sensor transmitter includes a on-board RTD signal amplifier for precision measurement. This wireless IoT RTD Temperature Sensor Transmitter is ideal for industrial temperature monitoring applications supporting extreme temperature ranges, such as industrial boiler temperature measurement, liquid temperature measurement, and temperature monitoring of food storage units. The NCD Wireless IoT RTD Temperature Sensor Transmitter is designed to consume extremely low power and send data at extremely long distances of up to 2 miles line-of-light or up to 28 miles using high gain antennas.
Powered by just 4 AA batteries with an operational lifetime of 500,000 wireless transmissions, you can expect to achieve up to 10 years of battery life depending on environmental conditions and the transmission interval you choose. Optionally, this sensor may be externally powered (available upon request).

The main electronics of this device should not be used in outdoor applications or for use in excessive temperature conditions, as only the temperature probe is rated for use in extreme temperatures. It may be necessary to mount the electronics in a protected environment for optimal battery life. Prolonged freezing will prevent batteries from functioning until thawed, using extended temperature range industrial batteries may improve the useful temperature range. Extended freezing applications should use a full-time powered solution. Prolonged exposure to extreme humidity conditions may damage this device. Exposure to high temperatures may cause the batteries to leak, causing permanent damage to this device. NCD Warranty does not cover battery corrosion or use in excessively smoky environments under any circumstances. The RTD sensor included with this device is for sample purposes only, as a RTD PT100 probe suitable for your specific application is required for long-term use. This device is compatible with any 100 Ohm 3-Wire RTD sensor.

Compatibility Notes
When using an 900HP-S3B communication module, it is essential that you use the ZIGMO_PCB to configure the module settings. Long-Range wireless sensors may be programmed over the air without removing the communications module.
A 900HP-S3B Modem or a gateway of some kind that support the 900HP-S3B communications module will also be required.
