1-Channel Sensor Controlled High-Power Relay

This 1-Channel High-Power Reactor Relay Controller makes it easy for sensors to directly control an external light, motor, and other high-power electrical device based on environmental actions or conditions.  Use external sensors to activate the on-board high-power relay for a pre-set time period.  Use a computer to configure the Reactor.  Once configured, Reactor works stand-alone, or in combination with a PC, depending on your application requirements.  Reactor is compatible with many popular communication technologies, providing a upgrade path should your needs change in the future.  Mechanical Relays are an ideal for choice for most users because of their long-life and low cost.  Inductive loads such as Motors, Valves, Pumps, Solenoids, and Large Transformers (including Fluorescent Lighting) will require external induction suppression capacitors to reduce interference to acceptable levels.

Reactor On-Board Communications Module OptionsChange

Reactor controllers are compatible with our complete set of communication modules; however, the modules shown below are the best choices for Reactor controllers. Please choose a communication module to interface to your Reactor controller. Reactor controllers are capable of operating without a communications module installed, but they still must be configured using a computer. If you plan to use a computer just for configuration, USB is the most common choice.

Would you like a power supply?Change

NCD Controllers Need Power. Standard NCD Power Supplies use a 2.1mm Barrel Connector with 12VDC (center positive) rated at 1.25 Amps (minimum).

Do you need Induction Suppression Capacitors?Change

Induction Suppression Capacitors are essential for managing inductive loads such as Motors, Solenoids, and other Electronic Devices that implement a collapsible magnetic field.  These capacitors will reduce the chances of Electromagnetic Interference with our controller and prolong the operational life of relays.
