WiFi Temperature Humidity Sensor for Azure®
NCD set out to build the world’s best WiFi Temperature Humidity Sensor for Azure®. In doing so, NCD now incorporates a precision Honeywell® temperature and humidity sensor with a WiFi module and control board. The temperature and humidity data collected from the environment around the sensor will be transmitted in beacons of high-accuracy (±4%RH and ±0.5°C). The on-board temperature humidity Honeywell® sensor is rated for -40°C to 85°C or -40°F to 185°F making it a viable product for most applications.
This WiFi Temperature Humidity Sensor for Azure® was developed to collect temperature and humidity data, then transmit it directly to Azure® where the user can visualize it. As one of the world’s most popular IoT platforms, Microsoft® Azure® is an essential, easy to use tool for viewing data from a wireless sensor device. Therefore, connectivity of the NCD ecosystem of IoT wireless sensors remains a top priority for our engineering team.
Note that this sensor will need to be externally powered (power supply included) and is capable of using a 6-32VDC power supply. To begin, access the product user guide under resources to learn how to use Azure® and this sensor in conjunction.
When it comes to temperature and humidity sensing, nothing compares to the ease of use, low price, high accuracy, operational temperature range, or security features offered here at NCD. Equipped with a 2.4 GHz WiFi Communications Module, NCD’s WiFi Temperature Humidity Sensor for Azure® is a reliable sensor for nearly any application.
Monitor temperature and humidity with Microsoft® Azure® Cloud Shell
Microsoft® Azure® is an IoT cloud computing platform that allows for effortless data streaming through a built in cloud shell feature.
Cloud shell is used for data streaming in an easy to read format. Furthermore, aspects of sensor data and how it is received is customizable in the Device Twin section.
A user friendly guide on how to setup NCD’s WiFi Temperature Humidity Sensor is provided under the Resources Tab. This guide will cover how to set up the sensor and use the basic testing function on Azure®. However, Azure has more to offer so explore the IoT platform and learn how to creatively visualize sensor data.
NCD’s WiFi Temperature Humidity Sensor for Azure® automatically reports temperature and humidity data straight to the Azure® cloud. For many industries IoT sensors like this are absolutely essential in nearly any field.
Below is just a sample list of applications for this sensor. However, the ability to accurately monitor temperature and humidity from a remote location with little effort creates an extensive list of applications worldwide.
