WiFi Push Notification Dry Contact Transmitter for Azure®
NCD set out to build the world’s best WiFi Push Notification Dry Contact Transmitter for Azure®. In doing so, NCD now incorporates Contact Closure Inputs with WiFi communications directly to Azure®. This transmitter works by sending data as soon as it detects an open or closed contact (any change of input state) and will then transmit data directly to Azure® via WiFi. This IoT WiFi Push Notification Dry Contact Transmitter for Azure® is ideally used in security applications that need a reliable wireless dry contact transmission directly to the powerful Azure® IoT Cloud platform.
NCD’s IoT WiFi Push Notification Dry Contact Transmitter make it easy to receive alerts when doors are opened or buttons are pressed or released. Ideal for security checkpoint validation applications, mechanical limit monitoring, gate, door, or window movement detection, garage door open/closed detection, motion detection applications, and much more!
This IoT WiFi Push Notification Dry Contact Transmitter for Azure® was developed to work with the Microsoft® Azure® Cloud. As one of the world’s most popular IoT platforms, Azure® is an essential tool for monitoring NCD wireless sensor devices.
When it comes to input change detection, nothing compares to the ease of use, low price, high accuracy, operational temperature range, or security features offered at NCD. Note that this sensor will need to be externally powered and is capable of using a 6-32VDC power supply.
To begin, access the product setup guide under resources to learn how to use Azure® and NCD’s WiFi Push Notification Dry Contact Transmitter in conjunction.
Detect input change with Microsoft® Azure® Cloud Shell
Microsoft® Azure® is an IoT cloud computing platform that allows for effortless data streaming through a built in cloud shell feature.
Cloud shell is used for data streaming in an easy to read format. Furthermore, aspects of sensor data and how it is received is customizable in the Device Twin section.
A user friendly guide on how to setup NCD’s WiFi Push Notification Dry Contact Transmitter is provided under the Resources Tab. This guide will cover how to set up the sensor and use the basic testing function on Azure®. Azure has more to offer so explore the IoT platform and learn how to creatively visualize sensor data.
NCD’s WiFi Push Notification Dry Contact Transmitter for Azure® automatically reports straight to the Azure® cloud when input changes are detected. For many industries, IoT sensors with direct access to cloud platforms bring tremendous value at low installation costs with no hidden 3rd party fees or monthly services outside the Azure platform.
