The NCD Custom 4–20 mA Transmitter is a two-channel, precision analog signaling device engineered to deliver accurate, reliable sensor data across industrial and remote monitoring environments. MASEN primarily uses this transmitter to relay level-monitoring data from field-installed level sensors directly to MASEN gateways, allowing real-time visibility of tanks, pits, silos, sumps, and other storage assets.
Developed by National Control Devices (NCD), this transmitter converts incoming sensor measurements into two clean, independent 4–20 mA current loop outputs, each capable of carrying stable, low-noise data over long distances. This dual-channel architecture allows a single device to support two separate level sensors or two measurement points, simplifying installation and reducing field hardware requirements.
Each unit is housed in a rugged, weather-sealed MASEN enclosure designed for long-term outdoor deployment. Whether mounted on a tripod, pole, or metallic surface using MASEN’s hardware kit, this transmitter integrates seamlessly with MASEN gateways, repeaters, and solar-powered systems—providing dependable, plug-and-play performance across the entire MASEN IoT ecosystem.
