NCD Custom RTD Temperature

The NCD Custom RTD Temperature device is a wireless temperature monitoring unit designed to interface directly with an RTD probe for high-accuracy temperature measurement. Built for stable and reliable operation, this device is commonly used by MASEN in refrigeration and cold-storage environments where precise temperature tracking is essential.

For increased durability in high-moisture environments, this custom unit can be epoxy-filled, providing additional protection for internal components when installed inside refrigerators or other cold, humid locations. This ruggedization helps ensure long-term reliability, even under heavy condensation or fluctuating temperature conditions.

Once connected to an RTD probe, the device wirelessly transmits temperature readings to an NCD Gateway, allowing continuous remote monitoring without needing direct access to the equipment. The transmitter is housed in a Polycase outdoor-rated enclosure, making it suitable for both indoor and field environments.

When paired with the MASEN Basic Hardware Kit, the device mounts easily to tripods, poles, or metallic surfaces, providing a consistent installation method across MASEN deployments.
