The NCD Custom Hardwired Gateway is a fully assembled, enclosure-mounted communication system designed for installations where continuous, hardwired power is required. Built around the NCD Edge Gateway platform, this custom solution includes all necessary DIN-rail–mounted components to create a clean, reliable, and serviceable gateway assembly for field or facility deployment.
Each gateway assembly includes the NCD Edge Gateway, Waveshare communication interface, power supply, breaker, and additional modules as required by the specific installation—such as the Keyence I/O block for advanced integration needs. All components are professionally mounted and wired inside the enclosure, providing a standardized, repeatable build that reduces installation time and eliminates wiring complexity in the field.
The enclosure size is selected based on the use case:
Standard Hardwired Gateway – built into a compact enclosure suitable for basic gateway-only deployments.
Expanded Hardwired Gateway with Keyence I/O – assembled in a larger enclosure to accommodate the additional I/O block and associated wiring requirements.
Each gateway is engineered for clean cable routing, organized DIN-rail layout, and field-ready durability. When used with the MASEN Basic Hardware Kit, the enclosure mounts securely to tripods, poles, or metallic surfaces, making it adaptable to a wide variety of deployment sites.
