The NCD Custom Solar-Powered Repeater is a long-range wireless communication relay designed to extend connectivity between remote NCD devices and NCD Gateways. MASEN deploys this repeater in field environments where sensors, transmitters, and monitoring hardware must communicate reliably across large distances, uneven terrain, or obstructed sites.
This repeater is powered by a 25-watt solar kit sourced from Voltaic, providing dependable off-grid energy harvesting for continuous outdoor operation. To ensure uninterrupted performance during nighttime hours and low-sun conditions, the system includes a 2D-cell battery backup integrated inside the MASEN enclosure. This power configuration allows for fully autonomous, maintenance-friendly operation in remote and hard-to-reach areas.
Enclosed in a rugged, weather-resistant MASEN outdoor housing, the repeater is engineered for long-term deployment in harsh field conditions. When paired with the MASEN Basic Hardware Kit, the device can be mounted on tripods, poles, or metallic surfaces, ensuring quick, standardized setup across all MASEN sites.
