NCD Industrial IoT Wireless Water Detect sensor works like a Wireless push notification transmitter, making it easy to receive alerts when water is detected. This Long Range Industrial IoT Wireless Water Detection sensor comes with a water detection probe attached to a 4.5 Meter cable, sending a transmission if a wet or dry condition is detected. Receive an alert when a water is detected on a dry sensor or receive another alert when when a wet sensor becomes dry. This Industrial IoT Wireless Water Detection sensor device is ideally used in water leak detection applications that need a reliable long-range wireless communications. Use this sensor to prevent potential water damages in buildings or to monitor drainage of critical areas.
Powered by just 4 AA batteries with a operational lifetime of 500,000 wireless transmissions, you can expect to achieve up to 10 years of battery life depending on environmental conditions and the transmission interval you choose.

Prolonged freezing will prevent batteries from functioning until thawed, using extended temperature range industrial batteries may improve the useful temperature range. Extended freezing applications should use a full-time powered solution. Prolonged exposure to extreme humidity conditions may damage this device. Exposure to high temperatures may cause the batteries to leak, causing permanent damage to this device. NCD Warranty does not cover battery corrosion or use in excessively smoky environments under any circumstances.
